At Masonite (Africa) Pty Ltd in Estcourt our 3 groups of Level 1 Learners have settled in well into their learnerships.
Apart from core competencies the learners also acquired life skills.
Module 1, facilitated over 5 days, covered the following:
Enhancing Self Development and Performance:
- Demonstrate knowledge of diversity within different relationships in the South African Society
- Explore and use a variety of strategies to learn
- Read and respond to a range of text types
Learners found the Manual content very interesting and are looking forward to completing their ‘OWN WORK’ (Portfolios of Evidence) to submit to their Facilitators for assessment at the start of Module 2.
Some learners were initially a little nervous of reporting back to their fellow learners but soon overcame their butterflies to produce interesting feedback – particularly in the Cultural Diversity section.
