In the field of learning and development, one of the most difficult skills to acquire, and do really well, is that of material development. However, the talented group of 9 candidates who learnt how to design and develop learning materials last week, rose to the challenge of preparing superb, outcomes based material, and called on all their subject matter experience, expertise and creativity to produce fabulous packs of engaging learning material for a variety of topics.
The module forms part of the full Occupation–Directed Education, Training Development Practices qualification, quality assured by the ETDP SETA.
It was a long, hard and very hot week, but regular leg stretches and water breaks produced the energy and concentration required to develop the material.
It is so rewarding to see the final products, from conception to final print. Well done to the team!
