The Velociti PROJECT MANAGMENT NQF Level 4 course has come to the end of the modular component of the training. The Velociti call centre environment that the learners work in is by its very nature a frenetic and demanding one where learners are constantly challenged by a busy and demanding environment. There have been instances during the course of the program where Learners have either worked through the weekend or not slept the previous night in order to get things done at work.
There was a 30% turnover of learners during the 5 modules due to resignations and this typifies the demands placed on management and the company as it strives to maintain a professional level of supervision and management over a large workforce.
Velociti has a real need for key Management personnel to develop the necessary skills to adopt a comprehensive cyclic and structured approach for moving individuals, groups and Velociti as an organisation from their current state to a planned future state while simultaneously enabling the business to integrate and align people, processes, structures, culture and strategy.
The Dionysus Project Management intervention was the answer to this need and the Learners have made every effort to gain as much knowledge and understanding from the Facilitator, learning manuals and training exercises. Learners have made every effort to attend class facilitation and gone the extra mile in ensuring that each task they have been required to complete was dealt with thoroughly. I has been a pleasure to work with this group of extremely competent, dedicated and willing Learners.
